Davina McCall calls walkers to makes strides for tiny lives

18 March 2005
Hi Editor – this is Davina! I do hope you can join me and be part of Davina’s Day Out on Sunday May 22nd along Portsmouth’s Millennium Trail. The mass sponsored walk is a first and will be great fun, as well as being for such a good cause. I’ve been an active supporter of Action Medical Research for a long time, and joined my grandmother on sponsored walks as a child. So if I can do it - so can you! This event supports Action Medical Research’s Touching Tiny Lives Campaign, helping vulnerable babies in those crucial first days of life. As a mother of two young children I really appreciate how important this is. So come on guys, don’t think about it – please get online and get registered! If you can’t make the walk, you can always sponsor someone who can. To enter visit www.davinasdayout.com or call 0870 411 9400. Registration costs just £5 per person, or £10 for a family ticket. Register soon to receive your free goodie bag, including a radio pedometer from Timberland. I know I can count on the people of Portsmouth and the surrounding areas to put this day on the map and make Davina’s Day Out a great success.
