The charity Action Medical Research is hosting ‘Summer Lunch Sophistication’ at the prestigious Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel near Bristol on Sunday 10th June, to help raise money for its Touching Tiny Lives campaign. Guests will be treated to a champagne reception followed by a delicious summer luncheon hosted by BBC newsreader Sally Challoner. Featuring exclusive entertainment from ex-Spandau Ballet heart-throb Tony Hadley, there will also be the chance to win flights for two to New York (from Bristol), courtesy of Continental Airlines.
Musician and former Spandau Ballet lead singer Tony Hadley said of his involvement; “I am thrilled to be performing at this year’s Summer Lunch for Action Medical Research’s Touching Tony Lives campaign. As I have four children myself, one only born recently, I am more than aware at how delicate and precious babies are. I can’t imagine the pain people go through when they have a sick or vulnerable baby and fully support the work that Action Medical Research do to save tiny lives every day.”
Touching Tiny Lives is the charity's major campaign to help sick and vulnerable babies and it hopes to raise £3 million for vital new research to help prevent premature birth and life-threatening pregnancy complications. It also aims to develop better treatments for babies who require special care when they are born.
The event takes place on Sunday 10th June from 12pm, at the Tortworth Court Four Pillars Hotel, near Wotton-under-Edge near Bristol. Tickets for the lunch cost £35 and can be purchased directly from Jennifer Reid on 0117 935 5040 or by emailing her on email@example.com
