Raffle Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions: Action Medical Research 60th Anniversary diamond draw

  1. Participation in this raffle costs £20.00 per raffle ticket.
  2. This raffle is open to residents of mainland Great Britain (this excludes Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Channel Islands).
  3. No tickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years.
  4. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 they will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit their prize.
  5. Monies raised by this raffle will support the work of Action Medical Research Registered Charity No SCO39284
  6. Payment for participation in the raffle can be made by cheque payable to Action Medical Research credit/debit card or cash.
  7. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw when the whole payment is received.
  8. Action Medical Research accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible, or from which the prize-winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted.
  9. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  10. Winners will be notified by post, email or telephone no later than two weeks after the draw date. Please keep the ticket number as proof of purchase
  11. Where Action Medical Research is unable to contact the prize-winner so that the prize remains unclaimed for six months following Action Medical Research’s first attempt to notify the prize-winner, Action Medical Research may apply the prize as it sees fit, including by re-offering the prize in future raffles.
  12. All winners are required to co-operate with Action Medical Research’s right to publish their win as and where deemed appropriate, including providing a photograph, quotation and proof of age when requested.
  13. Action Medical Research is registered with Renfrewshire Licensing Board in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005 to operate a small society lottery. Lottery permit number is SL/078.
  14. Requests for additional raffle tickets, requests to be removed from future raffle mailings, or any concerns about this raffle should be addressed to Action Medical Research, Vincent House, North Parade Horsham, RH12 2DP
  15. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the raffle in any way, the organisers reserve the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the organisers deem it appropriate and/or feasible Action Medical Research will notify entrants of the error.
  16. Names of winners and results of the raffle will be available on receipt of a request to ccooper@action.org.uk
  17. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion.
  18. Employees of Action Medical Research and members of their households are ineligible to enter this raffle. Any tickets bought in the name of Action Medical Research employees or members of their households will be rejected from the draw and considered as donations to Action Medical Research.
