Just £5 can help fund life saving research this Christmas
We’re funding research to help doctors develop the best, personalised treatment for babies with a rare and potentially fatal heart condition, called hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS).
The money we raise is giving hope to families, like Jessica’s (pictured right) but we want to be able to do more. This December many babies will spend their first Christmas in hospital and we urgently need your help to fund more groundbreaking medical research for children like Jessica in 2017.
Donate £5 to help more babies like Jessica this Christmas
Jessica had her first open heart surgery when she was just eight hours old, then another at six months, spending her first Christmas in hospital.
Babies' heart research
We're funding research which will create a virtual 3D model of babies’ hearts, to provide more tailored surgery with the aim of increasing survival rates.
A heart parent's story
Jessica's mum Louise shares her emotional and inspiring thoughts on what it’s like to be a parent of a ‘heart warrior’.
Why fund research?
Medical research to help children is poorly funded in the UK. With your help we’ve a critical job to do in helping fill this gap to protect children.
