Isle of Wight estate agents Pittis have been busy not only selling homes over the last six years, but also helping to raise funds for Action Medical Research too.
Since 2010, when the Group Managing Director of Arun Estates (which Pittis and four other property brands combine to form), took part in the Three Peaks Bike & Hike, a firm partnership has been formed. So much so that the dedicated team have now raised over £155,000 for our charity!
This has enabled us to support research into a new meningitis vaccine and also to determine whether medication can aid babies suffering from brain damage, alongside cooling therapies.
Just a few activities that Pittis and other Arun Estates staff have challenged themselves to include: the Blenheim Triathlon, Box Hill Challenge, Kingston Run and Color Runs in London and Brighton. They’ve also been busy hosting cake sales, car washes, quiz night, gala dinners, dance tournaments along with so much more!
Inspiring his employees and also pushing himself to the limit, MD David Lench has also been setting himself and accomplishing personal challenges. As well as the Three Peaks Bike & Hike, David has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and most recently rode from Land’s End to John O’Groats! His solo total to date is over £69,000; almost half the amount of the whole company’s donations!
A big thank you to the whole group for their amazing support, enthusiasm and creativity. Your fundraising has helped us to be there (and continue to care) for children and babies with devastating diseases.
