Liberty Specialty Markets has supported Action Medical Research in a number of different ways over several years.
In 2017 they allocated a corporate donation to Professor Peet’s brain cancer research in Birmingham, identifying the best treatment for individual children. In the same year they also chose to fund Dr James Ashton’s project in Southampton, looking into what causes Crohn’s Disease.
Corporate reception
As well as holding a office-based cream tea event and entering a number of runners into the London and Paris marathons, Liberty Specialty Markets also hosted a reception on behalf of Action at their offices in the Walkie Talkie building.
Guests at the canapé reception on behalf of Action included Fiona Bruce and a selection of individual and corporate supporters including Honeybuns Nurseries, RBS, Next, Arun Estates, APH, DX & Scumrun. Professor Manju Kurian also attended and explained the importance of Action's incredible track record of identifying and investing in new research talent.
