Are you tough enough?
We have teamed up with the Tour of Britain to bring you the opportunity to be a part of something very special - The Tour Ride 100.
The official Sportive of the Tour of Britain! This is YOUR chance to experience the full Tour of Britain infrastructure and will include riding the Tour of Britain's finish straight at the end of the ride, complete with commentary from the Tour's own PA commentary team led by Joe Fisher.
Taking place just weeks after our heroes compete for the yellow jersey you will have the opportunity to ride a 97.5 mile route (Pro Ride) cleverly designed by the Tour of Britain team that takes in the very best cycling across the Staffordshire Moorlands and through the Peak District. You'll experience the Tour of Britain King of the Mountains climbs of Ramshorn, Hollinsclough Moor, and Gun Hill.
Don't worry if the Pro Ride is too much as there's an opportunity to ride a 52.2 mile route (Challenge Ride) instead and will include Tour of Britain King of the Mountains Climbs of Oakamoor and Gun Hill.
You’ve conquered them all – time to think again
The infamous Gun Hill will be there to greet you and at 1.2 miles long, 1,224 feet high it has even reduced Mark Cavendish to tears. The gruelling run up from Tittesworth Reservoir beside the Roaches, near Leek, is English cycling's answer to the Tour de France's Col de la Bonette.
The Tour Ride100 on Sunday 5 October will be preceded by a Saturday afternoon pasta party.
This is a hot ticket and places are limited, so don't hesitate in signing up to Ride for Tiny Lives as part of Team Action.
What you’ll experience!
- Experience the full Tour of Britain infrastructure
- Ride and experience the Tour of Britain’s finish straight
- Ride with Britain’s UCI Continental squads and leading women’s teams
- Just like the professionals, enjoy support from Specialized mechanics at feed stations and en route.
