Bring your Bear, show a child you care
At Action Medical Research, we know that every child has a favourite bear.
It’s something that we - and our charity mascot Paddington - celebrate every summer with our Bring your Bear event. Up and down the country thousands of schools and nurseries will choose a day from May onwards when the children bring their teddy bear. Every child brings in two pounds with their bear, as a simple and fun way to support vital research to help babies and children.
We’ve been running Bring your Bear for over 10 years, and we know that schools and nurseries love it.
Once you have registered we make it as easy as possible by providing a FREE fundraising pack including stickers and a poster and a guide to activities like the always popular teddy bears’ picnic. And we’ve made sure that some of the activity sheets can be used as a bear related lesson plan.
