Aberdeen Ladies Lunch

We’re delighted to be back in the prestigious and intimate five-star Marcliffe Hotel & Spa for our annual Ladies Lunch on Thursday 14th March 2019.

Guest speaker Lieutenant Colonel Neil Stace

You might think Lieutenant Colonel Neil Stace’s medals are the closest he comes to ribbons and decorations but this father of two amassed a legion of fans after becoming a finalist in the BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee.  This tough Army officer’s fascination with needlecraft dates back to a protest because girls were allowed to join the school football team.

As well as Northern Ireland, the 46-year-old married father-of-two has completed multiple tours from Afghanistan to Bosnia and everywhere he went, his 1960s sewing machine followed.

He has made everything from ball gowns for his wife Kate, outfits for school productions and sniper suits for soldiers.  Neil has some fascinating stories to share, we’re sure you will enjoy his highly entertaining talk and hearing about his adventures.

To make sure you're on the mailing list or to purchase tickets (Price £40 inclusive of 2 course lunch, reception drink and wine) please contact Cecilia Cooper on 01236 782820 or email ccooper@action.org.uk
