HAVE YOU GOT 'THE GOLF FACTOR'?
If you can sing as well as you swing then you may be good enough to perform at the celebrity gala dinner to be held after the Tony Hadley Golf Classic on Friday 11 September 2015 in Peterborough in aid of children’s charity Action Medical Research!
Tony Hadley has been supporting Action for a number of years and this is the 11th year the Tony Hadley Golf Classic has been running… such was the success of last year’s event, that raised £25,000 for the charity, tickets for 2015 at Elton Furze Golf Club sold out within four days.
Following last year’s Strictly Come Dancing theme, the Tony Hadley Golf Classic and gala dinner for 2015 is focusing on ‘The Golf Factor’ with judges at the final audition including 2013 X Factor winner Sam Bailey, who will also be performing on the night. Other judges include agents John Glover and Paul Fitzgerald as well as the lovely Mr Hadley himself.
Audition places are limited but the deadline for entering has been extended until Sunday, 12 July. Each entrant is required to pay £10 (all profits to Action Medical Research) and come to the audition ready to perform two songs with appropriate backing tracks.
Preliminary auditions, in front of Tony Hadley’s manager John Glover, of Blueprint Management, will be held at the Peterborough Marriott Hotel on Sunday 19 July and the final audition takes place on 10 September 2015.
Five finalists will then sing at the gala dinner at the Peterborough Marriott Hotel and the winner will receive £100 in cash plus two tickets to The X Factor live television show and two tickets for The X Factor 2015 tour with a behind-the-scenes ‘meet and greet’.

Action Medical Research is a leading UK-wide charity working to save and change children’s lives through medical research. We believe that the diseases that devastate the lives of so many of our children can be beaten. We have been funding medical breakthroughs since we began in 1952 like the first polio vaccines in the UK, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine – helping to save thousands of children’s lives and change many more.
Just one breakthrough, however small, can mean the world. Charity reg. nos 208701 and SC039284.
