The Willmott Dixon Classic

22 September 2017

Welcome to the 2017 Willmott Dixon Classic!

We had a brilliant time last year raising over £100,000 for Action Medical Research and the aim in 2017 is that even more riders will take part and enjoy a spectacular day in the saddle.

This year’s ride offers three routes that vary between 33 and 89 miles. We’re starting again at Royston Heath Sports Club but take in a much different region, heading east towards Cambridgeshire. Each of our three ride options – Cool, Classic and Champion – involve lovely quiet roads, picturesque villages and rolling hills.

After a great few hours on the bike, there’ll be BBQ and refreshments to enjoy with colleagues and friends, alongside a raffle and other activities.

Money raised will be supporting researchers who are developing a new way to screen for early hip problems in children with cerebral palsy using a technique called freehand 3D ultrasound.

Also, all registrants will receive an event jersey to use on the day alongside a goodie bag full of useful items!

The 2017 Willmott Dixon rider manual is now available for download (pdf)

Ride for a Reason

There are hundreds of thousands of children in the UK whose lives are devastated by disease and disability.

It’s too many. Far too many.

Research can put a stop to this.

Fight for children. Fight now.
